"Panna Rani Roy is the new principal of MC College !

Prof. Panna Rani Roy has been appointed as the new Principal of Sylhet's traditional educational institution, Murrichand (MC) College.

On Sunday (September 18, 2022), the name of the new principal was announced in a notification signed by Chowdhury Samia Yasmin, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Education.

In the notification, the new principal has been asked to take charge on September 25.

Recently MC College Principal Saleh Ahmed has retired. As a result, Panna Rani was appointed as the post fell vacant.

Panna Rani Roy was earlier serving as the Vice-Principal of MC College.

Panna Rani Roy did her secondary from Sylhet Agragami School and higher secondary from Sylhet Government Women's College.

After passing Honors and Masters in Social Science from Dhaka University, he passed the 14th BCS Education Cadre.
